Richard Sullivan, LPCC, NCC

Maybe you want to learn more about yourself. Perhaps you want to confront your past and learn to move forward. Or maybe you have untapped potential waiting to be actualized. Whatever it is, I am here to help.

Richard is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) holding a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Palo Alto University. Deeply passionate about human development, he helps individuals navigate life’s complexities, heal from past experiences, and discover meaning and purpose.

His clinical background spans a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, adverse religious experiences, and severe mental illness. With an extensive background in clinical assessment and diagnosis, he provides a grounded, accurate foundation for the therapeutic process.

Richard’s practice is rooted in Existential-Humanistic therapy, with a strong Psychodynamic emphasis. True healing involves looking beneath the surface to explore unconscious patterns, early life experiences, and deeply ingrained relational dynamics. Richard helps clients gain profound insight while fostering personal agency, authenticity, and the search for meaning. He integrates other modalities like CBT and Motivational Interviewing to help you gain tools and skills for daily functioning.

Above all, Richard offers a confident, confidential space where you can support your process of individuation and become your authentic self.
